I try to take a walk every day. I used to focus on where I was trying to get. I could walk pretty fast and the accomplishment made me feel good. These days I walk more slowly and cover less distance. But I have realized that there is a lot to see along the way. Things that I hadn’t taken time to notice before. So now a walk with my head down and pause often to investigate more.

Is it human to always need a focus near or far? It seems difficult to see both at the same time.
